Happy New Year! I’d like to welcome 2007 with well wishes for everyone, and a challenge.
In the spirit of the new year, I want to discuss your “New Years Resolutions.” I put this in quotes because not everyone follows this tradition. And for those who do, it often ends in guilt and self-recrimination rather than success. I would like to replace this tradition with a new idea. Instead of resolving to be better about something or give something up or be more disciplined, I would like to invite you to manifest what you truly want 2007 to be.
First, I’d like each of you to think about what kinds of blessings you can take from 2006 (good or bad). Acknowledge them, be grateful for them and release them. They are gifts that make us stronger. By accepting and releasing these gifts, it’s easier for you to move on to the next year and decide how you want to influence your new experience.
Then, picture in your mind what you would like this year to be for you. Give it a description. Voice this description to yourself or a loved one. Feel it fully. Be very sure it’s truly what you want. Manifesting change gives you the power to create what you want in your life. It prevents you from being a victim and empowers you to live fuller.
For Bastet Jewelry, I am asking each of you to be witnesses to my desire. I want Bastet Jewelry to be a healing resource for our community, and for the Stone Medicine to touch hundreds of lives throughout the year. The Stone Medicine is powerful, loving and final. I envision many more of you waking to the healing energies of the earth and all that come from Her.
May all your wishes and desires come true this year. May you find Peace, may you be Loved, may you have Abundance, may you be Healthy, and may you be Free.
