Stone Voices...

This is my first month sending out this mailing to you, my dear friend in healing.

While the shy part of me would rather have my head tucked into my jewelry desk, Spirit has encouraged me to communicate more with the world about Stone medicine—and a little about how I make jewelry for people who come to me for healing. So here goes!

Let me start by saying that the foundation of all my pieces is the Five Sacred Elements themselves: Spirit, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. I work with one, some, or all of these elements whenever I create a new piece. How do I “work” with these elements? Nope, I don’t build a fire when I plan to work with Fire. (Well, I suppose I would if my landlord allowed it!?) Rather, I invoke the spirits of the elements I wish to use through meditation and prayer, and then anoint the final piece of jewelry with those spirits using a special oil and blessed ceremony taught to me by my dear alchemist/healer friend, Rabbit. That piece will then forever carry the healing properties of those elements.

I work with the Five Sacred Elements because they’ve been creating balance and healing in human lives for centuries. I’m just carrying on a blessed tradition! I’ve witnessed this healing occur in my clients, and in myself, as well. Personally, I have Water and Air in my chart, so I’m drawn to Earth and Spirit pieces. When I listen to those callings and wear jewelry with those elements, I feel more in my body and in touch with the Creator. Do you feel that one or more elements are lacking in your life? If you need grounding, Earth might be the element you need. If you feel disconnected emotionally, then Water. If you need help meditating, Spirit. If you need flexibility and compassion, Air. If you need passion or creativity, Fire.

I’m happy to work with anyone in discovering which element will bring them balance, peace, and harmony.

Until next month...Blessed be,
